I submitted 3 sites over a month ago and they are not listed yet. I checked the guidelines for the Submission Status forum, and they ask for a link to the category that the site was submitted to. Due to a mistake on my part, I don't have the exact category that I submitted to. Is there anything I can do to check the status of my sites or should I just resubmit them?

The only thing we can do without the exact category name is to see if an editor has either reviewed the site and declined it, or moved it to another category.
However, what I would suggest is that you browse through the ODP as if you were going to make a submission - find the one category which you feel best fits each site. Then post in the status forum, asking if it is there. If it is not, and it hasn't been rejected, then you can resubmit.
