:confused:

I submitted my companies website http://lucid.spymac.net to the open directory project under the category :

Computers: Companies: Product Support: Apple

About one month ago. During this time I have not received an email, or any other communication regarding the status of the suggestion. Performing a search on this form for my site displays no results.

Is this normal, or did something happen to the suggestion. Is this suggestion in a pipeline (something will happen) or is it out at sea (resubmission is necessary).

Thank you for any info, your project seems really worth while. I hope my site makes it into your data base.

We don't send them, you won't receive them.

And, all philosophical questions aside, that's not likely to change.

If that is the case

how do I check on the status of the suggestion?

Searching this forum, I could found nothing. Is there not some way of checking the suggestions, status.

Any one care to shed some light on the way this system works.....

I am particular interested to find out if the suggestion has been rejected or accepted. :confused:

Sorry - when I first posted - I was wondering, why an email had not been sent regarding the status, it would seem this is normal. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Many people will find the Lucid Information Systems offers services, which they are seeking, I hope they will be able to find the services, by using this directory.

You get a confirmation page when you suggest the site, that is it. Received and awaiting review by an editor. You can check back here in the same thread in 6 months if you don't see it listed by then. Thanks.

You can also suggest the site to the Regional branch - find the New Brighton locality category - it does not affect your other suggestion.

You share your exact corporate name with a company in the US - hope that doesn't confuse anyone.

I have been trying to find a name which is not conflicting with anyone else ( difficult ).

If you have a moment, could you please post this other company website link. During my searches, I have not come across an exact match, however I figured that another one out there is a possibility.

You are right they have exactly the same name.
