Submission Status: About Europe for Visitors

I've submitted my site Europe for Visitors:

to the category:

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Travel_and_Tourism/Travel_Guides/

The site has almost 1000 pages on Western European travel, so I think this would be the most appropriate category. I believe it's been over a month since I've submitted it.

Hmmm... The problem with that site is, that the type of content seems to have changed over the last years, moved to another domain etc. ... That does not affect listability itself, but makes editors a bit more suspicious.

Anyway: One submission of this site is still waiting to be reviewed with a medium amount of others. Since I'm no expert in this area, I wont comment on listability of the current site.

Just a quick comment on your first paragraph. The site has changed content (through a change of editors) only once in its existance since 1997. It's not exactly a revolving door for content; I've been at it over a year now. I expect to continue for many more. And I did wait to submit until I had considerable content that I believed warrented my inclusion with the other sites in this category.

The suggestion is still awaiting review for that category, along with around a hundred others.

That category is a bit of a spam magnet, which slows listings down. I'd be prepared to wait a while if I were you.
