Submission status for http://www.leocanhelp.com

The site was submitted to Computers: Companies: Product Support: Independent Tech Support over 3 months ago and again almost a month ago.

Could someone please check on this and see why it is not being added to the directory.

Thanks,

Leo

Re: Submission status for http://www.leocanhelp.co

Lets see. About 3 months ago, it was deleted from Computers/Companies/Product_Support/Independent_Tech_Support/ because the editor couldn't find anything having to do with technical support. About a month ago, a deep link to your site was changed to the top level URL and sent from Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Promotion/Free_Search_Engine_Submitting/ to Regional/North_America/United_States/Washington/Localities/B/Bremerton/Business_and_Economy. It was then deleted because it crashed the editor's computer twice. I don't think that we editors are supposed to do that, but he/she might have thought that a web designer makes a web site which crashes a computer, then that web designer isn't good enough to warrant being listed.

Thanks for checking on this.

What do I need to do to get my site listed in href=http://dmoz.org/Computers/Companies/Product_Support/Independent_Tech_Support/?

Thanks,

Leo

If it were me I would just resubmit the site.

Since I submitted the site recently won't it get rejected as spam?

I apologize for telling you to resubmit the site before looking to see if it was already waiting. Your submission is currently in the que awaiting review with a fair number of other sites. I have no time estimate for you but if you are still not listed after a month follow up on this thread.

Even Laisha might let this one slide. Although I too prefer "queue", "que" is also in the dictionary, and is widely used, esp. by mathematicians.

I like it because it is shorter (less typing).

It has been over a month since last requesting status of the site submission status of leocanhelp.com. Could someone please take a look at see where it is in the process? <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

cbl

I think you will wind someone up with this line of repeated questioning <img src="/images/icons/mad.gif" alt="" />

Also I couldn't help noticing that you had a listing for
http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=cblj
which it could be argued is the main site and that this site "leocanhelp" is just a sub site

You may well have been wiser to just let editors get round to checking the site in the fullness of time, without repeatedly spotlighting it here

Re: Submission status for http://www.leocanhelp.co

Thanks for the heads up. I'm just trying to get my site listed.

Re: Submission status for http://www.leocanhelp.co

Site previously did a lot of wierd stuff in my browser. It is very close to validating now: HTML Validation Results . Although this isn't a requirement for being listed, it does help the reviewing editor if the site can be actually viewed. If a site fails to display or crashes my browser, then I leave it for somone else to pick up on later. In areas with few active editors, this can mean that sites may go ignored for months at a time.

Thanks for the prompt reply and for checking on the status of the site submission. I don't know why this site would have crashed your browser, but I understand what you are saying.

Thanks again.
