Submission Status for http://www.topoftheline.com

I submitted our site almost a year ago with no luck to:

http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Vehicles/Parts_and_Accessories/Detailing_Supplies/

I submitted again to the exact same section and would like to know if it will be accepted this time. All of my competitors have been in for a year or more. I cannot imagine why we are overlooked. We have a tremendous site that has great ranking. It is a complete mystery. We are definately in the right catagory. <img src="/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" />

You are in unreviewed twice, once under the date of 18/Mar/2003 21:17:38 MST with the url http://www.topoftheline.com. And another under http://store.yahoo.com/tolae with a date of 04/Oct/2002 23:30:35 MDT. Because your content is on yahoo, http://www.topoftheline.com is considered a doorway and therefore it would likely be listed under the yahoo url. There are several hundred sites waiting for review in this category, your site hasn't been overlooked. It is possible an editor has evaluated sites and your resubmitting has in fact sent you to the end of the queue again and again. Please do not submit again. What this is doing is rewriting the submission date and sending your site down the line of the queue if the editor reviewing sites sorts by date and may end up making it just that much longer before your site is reviewed. As of now, your site has not been reviewed yet.

I have deleted the submission for http://www.topoftheline.com because it is in the queue twice, including the yahoo url.

Re: Submission Status for http://www.topoftheline.

Oh gosh, Montana PLEASE do not delete the correct URL of topoftheline.com. The Yahoo address should not have been there and is totally incorrect. Somehow it overread my original submission. I never would have used the yahoo store URL. I believe that may have been the reason for the site being passed over. I had no idea of any kind of doorway. I have a legitimate site with Yahoo only being the web program used.

I have only resubmitted once after months and months of waiting. I honestly believe the Yahoo address has been the problem. Isn't there someway of recognizing my site without the "doorway" problem? There is no doorway. It is quite legitimate.

A cursory glance at the two sites shows that they are identical. Attempting to order anything at topoftheline.com results in being sent to store.yahoo.com/tolae, and once you're there it's impossible to get back. We'll probably list the Yahoo Stores URL, since that's where all the content is.

Please stay on topic. Mention of sites that perhaps shouldn't be listed belong elsewhere, and any allegations about a particular editor should be emailed to a meta.
