I am inquiring about the status of a URL we submited approximately 4 weeks a go in the following category

Looks like there could be more editors in that branch, sorry to say that it is waiting for review with more than 100 other entries.

Nothing new about your submission unfortunately. There certainly is a lack of editors in this part of the directory.

I have applied to be an editor for this category several times but have been rejected, any suggestions? Can you edit our site for us? Thanks again

Not quite a year and a half, your submission is dated 7th August 2002.

It's still there in a very large queue, and I'm afraid I can say nothing more comforting than "it will be reached one day". If we had more editors, we'd be able to clear the backlog faster, but we don't.
