Can somebody let me know the status of the above (in the business/finance section) as it's been three months now and I'm worried there is no sign of the site in the Directory.

The site was submitted to category: http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Uni...ance/Mortgages/

Are you sure? We don't accept any websites there. You probably meant ../Mortgages/M
Not there I'm afraid and neither has any editor moved or declined it. I suggest you resubmit it.
