Thanks for the insight. Being new to the Forum, I am not certain how to do what you ask. I clicked on "Threaded" and nothing happened.

What is the proper manner in which to do this? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

You can place a link to the original thread in your bookmarks/favorites for convenience. You could also find your old thread through the "Search" function or your user profile, but this is a little less convenient.

Then, when you want a status update, you can go to the original thread, click on "Reply" on the last post in the thread, and ask for a status update. Posting will bump your original thread to the top of the forum, and an editor will respond to your request.
