I would appreciate information on the status of the site: http://www.dvd-gear.com

which was submitted to the http://dmoz.org/Arts/Television/Video_Production/Desktop/ category several months ago.

It's there, but your submission looks misplaced. As you offer online shopping, one of the subcategories of Shopping (i.e. somewhere in Consumer Electronics or Entertainment) would be more appropriate.

Yes. Find an appropriate category and resubmit, I'll delete the misplaced submission.
