I was wondering the status of my submission of http://www.floridadolphin.com to the follwing category. This category does not have an editor ...
Regional/North_America/United_States/Florida/Localities/S/Saint_Pete_Beach/Travel_and_Tourism/Lodging/Hotels_and_Motels/

Can I also submit this to an upper level category if it has an editor and be within the submission guidelines.

Yes, your site submitted on July 3rd is waiting for review in Regional: North America: United States: Florida: Localities: S: Saint Pete Beach: Travel and Tourism: Lodging: Hotels and Motels.

This category has no listed editor, but that doesn't mean it is abondoned. It can be edited, for example, by editors of (grand-)parent categories like Regional: North America: United States: Florida: Localities.

Submitting your site to a category higher up or somewhere else (just because they have editors listed) won't help. Those editors will first have to move the submission to the right category. Unnecessary work, because your site is already there waiting for review.

So please just be patient and wait for the editor to come to the appropriate category, where you submitted your site. If you don't find it listed after another month, feel free to come back to this thread to ask again.
