If you haven't seen it listed in the above category by March 25, you are welcome back for another status request. (That is 7 months after your latest submission to that category; normally we ask submitters to wait one month after their latest submission before asking for status, but following the trail of submissions took so long I preferred to give you your status now instead.) If you do come back, please use this same thread - you may want to bookmark it.

Hello Nea,

It has been a while and i am getting back to you as to our admission status as advised on Sept 04. I would very much like for CityCrybs.com to be a part of the dmoz directory however we have yet to be included. Our aim is to provide the online community with a quality destination and hope we can for your visitors too. Please let me know what we can do to be a part of the dmoz community.

There haven't yet been any cases of a review taking more than 6 years :eek: -- probably because the directory hasn't been around that long.

But that only refers to submitted sites. We should point out that we consider all sites that exist as waiting to be reviewed, so there could be sites that have been around for more than six years that are also waiting to be reviewed, it's just that no one submitted them yet - since editors pro-actively go and search for sites that does not stop us from finding them and listing them anyway. :p

Asking for special consideration in this forum, is not a good thing to do.

It's like saying "please review my site before all the other sites" - as such, editors who see this post are likely to avoid reviewing your site - to ensure we don't get a flood of other similar requests.

How could we answer this without reviewing the site?

We don't do reviews based on requests for the forum.
