Submission Status of www.NHPumps.com

Please could you tell me the status of my submission from one month ago of:

http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Industrial_Goods_and_Services/Fluid_and_Gas_Control/Pumps/Water/

Submission is not waiting, nor has it been moved, deleted, etc by an editor.

My guess is that the submission didn't go through or it was the incorrect category. Please resubmit it to that category. Sorry!

thats annoying, I didn't get any errors or anything when submitting and I'm sure it is the right category for the site.

Thanks for letting me know anyway. I may consider submitting to the relative regional category instead.

I am considering submitting to a slightly different category next time, do you see any reason why the original one would be wrong? It is a mystery why my original submission went missing, only that it may have been the wrong category.

Would the category:
http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Industrial_Goods_and_Services/Fluid_and_Gas_Control/Pumps/ be more suitable? It is one level higher but I thought maybe the water category is being too specific for our product range.

I read that a few months ago this area was quite backlogged so do you think I would be more likely to get listed in the relative regional category of: http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/Staffordshire/Cheadle/
I was wary of whether the site was suitable for that category though.

It would be great if you could tell me how the queues compare for the two areas.

Do you think the site would be suitable for listing in both the company's local area of Cheadle as well as in ../Fluid_and_Gas_Control/Pumps/ or should I stick with just one category initially?

Since you seem to have an actual physical presence in Cheadle, yes it would be appropriate to suggest your site there. The suggestions for the Business and Regional branches are independant of each other and will not cause the other to be treated differently.

For any practical purpose, it wouldn't matter. You can wait in both at the same time.

But our experience is that often the regional sites get reviewed more quickly.

Your site "is" waiting to be reviewed in the above category. I don't know how I missed is as the number of submissions waiting can almost be counted on both hands.

In other words, not very many waiting.

I'm just checking up on the submission status of:

www.dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/Staffordshire/Cheadle/
to which I submitted the site about six weeks ago.

I was very happy to have been listed in the subject category ../Fluid_and_Gas_Control/Pumps/ very soon after enquiring about the site last time, I was expecting to wait far longer so thank you to who ever was editing that part of the directory at the time.
