Since there was no further response in your old thread, I have made the update.

Using your old thread would have made it much easier for me to check on the history of your site.

When I went to the old thread I wasn't able to reply but - I must not have been logged in. Sorry for inconvenience.

Any idea on what I can do, with no editor in my category and almost a year since my initial submittal....

Thank you,

You don't need to do anything. As I said above, I've made the update.

Thank you!!! I didn't understand. When can we expect to see the database updated with the update.
Thank you again for taking care of this for us.

define 'database'

The update appears in the category - that's the underlying 'database'

DMOZ Search is usually run off the RDF but search is not currently a priority while servers are being updated. It has it's own 'database' which may be a few weeks from updating.

Google search is an indexed 'database' generated by Google during its semi monthly update by crwling DMOZ and other sites.

Google directory is a copy of the DMOZ live categories compiled into an RDF file and modified by Google when they feel like it, so it's a kind of copy of the main database, but sorted differently.

Net result - we don't know exactly when anything except the pages we work on update and really don't much care - we have no control over it anyway.

You just have to wait. It is listed, that's all you need to be concerned about.

Yes, I was confused when I did a search and came up with the old listing but clicking on the category gave me the current update.
Thank you for the detailed explanation on how this works.
