Submission status to Business/Small Biz/Consulting

Good day and I hope you can help. I submitted http://clearviewpublications.com on April 1 of this year to the
Business/Small Business/Consulting category.

There is not an editor for this category, with 68 listings as of yesterday.

I'm off to find out how to become an editor of this small category. I do understand it will be about a week before anything happens due to the upgrade.

Any help or comments would be much appreciated. Have a great day!

Then you will also understand why, due to the upgrade, we can not do any checking of listing status. :)

I think he's asking about becoming an editor for that category, alucard, not asking for a submission status. :)

RockLobster - there is plenty of information in the 'Becoming an Editor' forum on this board, including links to official documents. Have a thorough read, and then when the server splutters into life again, you can apply. Good luck :).

Thank you both. I am asking about the submission status, and I will be reading up on becoming an editor.

Should I post again next week about the submission status, or just wait for a reply to this thread?

Reactivate this thread at least a few days after the server upgrade is declared a success.

Still waiting in a rather large queue, I'm afraid.

While you'll be most welcome to apply as an editor here, I would not select that category because of the size of the unreviewed queue. We tend not to let brand new editors loose in such categories.

Thanks for the reply. As for the large queue, how large is large?
Certainly part of my application will be let the decision-makers know that I am aware of how much time it will take, and that I have the time to make the category successful. Sound like a good start to an application?

When someone says "large" that will often mean just by itself "too big for a new editor". Perhaps you might want to try for Business/Small_Business/Consulting/Training first, and then move up to the higher category at some point thereafter.

Well, you got your last status update on July 21, and we ask to wait at least one calendar month before making another request. Unfortunately the pool of unreviewed sites in this category is so large (several hundred sites) that I suggest you wait at least 3 months before making your next request. Sorry the news isn't better.

It was reviewed and found unsuitable for that particular category. It is now awaiting review in Business/Small_Business/News_and_Media with a few dozen other sites.
