I submitted my site over a month ago and have not seen or heard regarding its status.

Submitted it where? (We need a clickable link to the category page at dmoz.org in order to check on it.)

Note that you won't ever hear anything: except that if the site is reviewed and added to the directory, you'll see it (in whichever category it was added, which is often not where it was submitted.)

But give us the link, and we'll tell you whether it's been reviewed.

You're actually two days early, but, the submission has been received and is awaiting review. If you don't see it listed sometime in the next six months, please feel free to return for a status update on or after 16 Feburary.

After six months, if your site hasn't been listed by then. That would mean on or after August 17th. (Or August 16th - I think it's still yesterday in Utah. :D )
