I apologize in advance for (perhaps) imperfect information: I registered our company's domain in December -- I believe 12/18/03.

I also believe the category would have been:

http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Manufacturing/Supply_Chain_Management/

Alternatively, I may have placed it (was new at this) under:

http://dmoz.org/Business/Management/Supply_Chain/

But I am almost certain it was the first.

sorry you didn't get a reply to this earlier - sometimes messages just slip through the cracks. Your submission of 19/Dec/2003 is waiting for review in http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Manufacturing/Supply_Chain_Management/ .

You might want to try and make your boss understand that once you have suggested a site to the ODP and know that it is waiting for review, there is nothing more you can do to make the review happen faster. All editors are volunteers, and we work where we want to, when we want to. And processing suggested sites is not our main task - we find sites to add to the directory in many ways, and the pile of sites submitted from our users is only one source. The best thing you can do is submit, have the submission confirmed (as you have done - you know it's waiting for review) and then forget about it.

Since mid-May, we ask all submitters to wait 6 months between repeat status requests. If you haven't seen the site listed within that time, you are welcome back to this thread on or after March 1 for another status report. Thank you!
