Hello. We just browsed the forums a bit and see that acceptance or rejection of a submission can happen in a period of months or years.

We submitted a listing to DMOZ under the category:
Regional -> North America -> United States -> New Jersey -> Localities -> P -> Passaic -> Business and Economy -> Restaurants and Bars

Today, when we checked that directory, and the sub-directories up to "Passaic", we noticed a "Last update: Tuesday, January 2, 2007 11:17:37 PM EST"

We were wondering what sort of time frame is typical for updates, since 4 years is quite a few years!

Thank you!

That date at the bottom of the category is incorrect. AOL are aware of this bug and will fix it in time.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.
