Will it be good enough to submit it in the following category:

I would suggest it is not an appropriate submission as Ashoka Machine Tools International is already listed in http://dmoz.org/Business/Industries/Manufacturing/Casting,_Molding,_Machining/Machine_Shops/Gear_Manufacturing/ with the URL http://www.ashokagears.com/ If there are other divisions of Asoka that have web pages specific to another product range, they may be eligible for listing in another cat.

There's a general principle here that is frequently misunderstood.

A site that contains many of subsites for specific entities is not considered a "single site." It's considered a "Web Host that doesn't provide individual domain names for its customers." Geocities is the classic "personal home page" site, but there are many others, some concentrating on specific industries, others (like trade-india) concentrating on specific regions.

The "individual sites without individual domain names" should be considered for listing on their merits -- in Topical, Regional, World categories, whatever.

But they need to be unique content. A page for a business is not "unique content" if the business has its own site with the same information. Trying to supplant the business's own site is a form of abuse, and reflects badly on the "web host" and ALL its submissions--even the ones that might turn out to be legitimate (of which, for the record, there are many at trade-india.)

The url which I have told to you is entirely differnt from the one which is already present in DMOZ.

This URL has no connection with the site already listed.

Only the product line is same,
but otherwise the company address & all the other details are different.

As these two are entirely different companies just having a common product line.

So Kindly have a good look at the site & let me know whether I can submit this listings in Dmoz.

Yes the URL is different, but we list sites with unique content, not multiple sites covering the same business.

These are almost identical in content, if not word for word in places, so we are obviously talking about the same company here.

The ashoka gears listing is the preferred one to stay, as the domain belongs to the company concerned. If there was no other listing for Ashoka I would have no problem with your site being listed .

Whilst I agree that each URL has different contact detaiils, that is the choice of the company, and not reason to list the same business twice. Yes, there is no link between the two sites, if that's what you are saying, but again that is not the point here.

I'm not trying to be obstructionist, we have a set of rules to work to, and sometimes these are interpreted slightly differently by different editors, but the basic premise is still that an individual business is only entitled to one listing.

If each of these had it's own site that had different information on it, each MIGHT qualify for a listing, but if three of them only said 'manufactures gears', only one of the three would be listed. If 1 manufactured ceramic discs, one only worm drives, and one only gear boxes, all had the subsidiary name and contact details, and wasn't a sub-site of the main company site, they would probably all be listed appropriatly.

I don't see that your site has content that is not available from the main site.

(don't get me wrong, I think your site is quite good, but which site would the manufacturer rather have listed, yours, or their own?)

This, if you'll excuse the direct approach, does not make it a unique site. It makes it APPEAR that someone else, not the company itself, is trying to steal the company's customers by misdirecting them to some other contact, using a plagiarized and forged website. (Yes, we have seen other attempts to do this, and yes, we have to watch out for it.)

This is not a case where you could persuade editors to add an inappropriate site. This is a case where you could learn how to begin to rebuild trade-india's reputation as a reliable submitter of legitimate sites.
