We got no response as to why our site is not being listed. Our competitors are listed and submitted their sites after us.

150+ customers visit our site everyday and we offer a service that is really useful to them - laptop repairs and spare parts. About 10% of visitors actually place orders for spare parts or repairs after visiting the site.

Please let me know why we are not being listed. Our site is a very useful resource for laptop owners in the UK and europe.

Your suggestion has been received and is awaiting review. We can't predict when that might be. Your submission of yesterday has overwritten any earlier ones.

It has not been listed yet because thus far, no volunteer has volunteered to process your submission.

Raj, I'm not an editor, so I'm saying this as an observer. If I were you and I was trying to get into the Open Directory I would think about removing some of those duplicate pages - the ones where your content is more or less identical except for the name of the town, and which you link to at the bottom of your page. I'm not making a judgement about the quality of your site or the service you provide, but some people would regard this as spam.

I'm an editor who hasn't looked at your page. (I generally don't edit in Computers anyway) It sounds like pcmt is giving you good advice.

We don't know that it was. Perhaps an editor looked at it, and couldn't decide whether it was worth listing or not and just left it alone. Quite often we will leave submissions for a second look later, for review by another editor, or to wait and see if the content improves.
