Without looking at your sites, a couple of hints...
Dmoz titles are the company or entity name only, no frills...
The descriptions are factual and avoid lists of "keywords", the opposite of normal SEO practice, as Dmoz is destined for human users rather than machines.
We mainly work with what can actually be seen on the site, rather than by any knowledge we hold personally...
Generally, we list one site per entity, so if your company has two sites, only one will be listed in Dmoz (there are exceptions to this, but it's always the editors who make the decision, not the site owner).
