Submitted to a different category

I had submitted my website (www.usmleweb.com) to a category to DMOZ 1 year ago. I have not received no information whether my website is rejected or in -queue.

I am wondering can I submit my website to a different category. Would this be considered resubmitting?

It's fine to do that provided that you think the second category is more relevant for the site (either because the site has changed, or you have discovered a better category, which might not even have existed a year ago). Otherwise there wouldn't be any point in doing so
