Hi All,
I submitted my internet company site in dmoz NC categorya while back. Plans are to expand nationwide over a 5 year period. My question is should I submit to other categories? That category says it was last edited- Last update: 13:35 PT, Wednesday, August 4, 2004 - Looks like a long wait in that cat. I don't want to mess up my submission by submitting in the wrong cat. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Paul

In general: One business, One listing.

If the scope expands, you might want to send an update request to move the listing to a better category.

Category not edited for a long time? Chances are, that on average, someone will be along sooner rather than later, perhaps? However, past history of editing gives no indication of any future pattern that may occur.

Thanks giz,
Thought that was right for the cats. You made a good point as far as the last edit date for the category. Makes sense that it would probably be sooner rather than later since the cat has'nt been edited for a while. Appreciate your quick response.
Take care, Paul

Oh, and update requests are shown in a separate list away from new suggestions, and editors tend to give them higher priority: improve the listings we have, rather than adding more....
