No confirmation email is sent, the only confirmation you get is the screen thanking you for your submission.

From your experience what sort of time should I give before re-submitting?
Is every category monitored everyday, or is it a case where a category only has say 1 editor and he may not go into it for a few weeks so could take sometime for submitted links to be reviewed where as say you monitor your categories everyday so submitted links to your categories get listed faster?

There is no need to suggest a site more than once.

No, they are not. Some might be but certainly not all.

Time may vary between a few days and several years.
