Submittimg to muliple categories

Good Morning All,
First time here so please be gentle with me, I have a website with many information pages relevant to several countries but with an online shop only relevant to one region.
My question is can I submit the main site in one category and the shop on the same URL to another category or would that be considered spamming.

The exact and gentle answer is: it depends.

It depends solely on the content of your site, not in your eyes, but the eyes of a reviewing editor (who we believe represents a web surfer).

In general, no. But there are a very very few exceptions. Without you telling us what the site is, my advice to you would be to find one category and submit the site once.
