Submitting more than one site

Hi,

We have 3 different informational sites that don't have any duplicate content, and are in different topical areas. Can we submit each of these to their respective topical categories? Reading some postings in the forum it seemed that this can be considered spamming by some editors, but we're definitely not trying to do that. Any guidance would be much appreciated :)

No, submit one site to the category that best fits that site. Link the other sites from that site. Do not spam us. We look for unique content and if you are duplicating content then by definition that is not unique. Hope this helps.

O.k., thanks very much for your reply. I'm a little confused, though, that if there is no duplication of content between the sites why each site's content wouldn't be considered unique?

What is the content?

If it is high heel shoes, sneakers and boots, then as far as we are concerned it is one subject area (shoes) and we will pick one of the three sites, and not list the other two.

If it is aircraft manufacturing, apple growing, and touch typing we would consider (but definitely not guarantee) multiple listings.

If they are completely different sites that just happen to be owned by the same company then you can submit them all like spectregunner says.

We could give more concrete answers if we knew the three URLs though.

Thanks very much. :) I was under the impression that I wasn't allowed to post any urls in this section of the forum, though.

To help with the confusion (hopefully to clear it up, not intensify it :) ), thehelper is speaking generally, unique to your site out of all sites on the subject.

And you (katie) are speaking specifically, no content duplication among the three specific sites.

Basically, sites need to be unique in both instances.

And to echo what has been said, without knowing the sites, it is hard to answer. Some circumstances would be listable in three topics, in others only one.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. It does clear it up. Also, I realize now that I should probably go ahead and submit the three sites since they are of different and unique content, and then let the editors decide. I appreciate the help :)
