Hello,

I have a domain (lets call it example.com for this discussion), and I have a subdomain/website for each city.
(e.g. reno.example.com, lasvegas.example.com, atlanta.example.com, etc...)
Each website is a city guide and has content related to the respective city.

So I submitted my website, lasvegas.example.com to the las vegas section within dmoz.org
http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Nevada/Localities/L/Las_Vegas/

Then I submitted my website reno.example.com to the reno section of dmoz.org
http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Nevada/Localities/R/Reno/

The I did the same for atlanta (submitted it to the atlanta locality of DMOZ.
I read the guidelines and didn't encouter any problems or see any conflicts.

I submitted these sites a few days ago. Is this allowed?
If not, how can I remedy this?

Thanks

No, it's not allowed--the submittal policies allow for all related sites to be banned as a result. (That's the only penalized action in the whole submittal policies.)

There's not really any official remedy -- the point of a "ban" is not really a penalty, but just a way of protecting the editors from abusive communications. (So the ban isn't so much required, as done if needed. Probably, nobody has yet thought it was needed.)

Are just those three cities involved? (I don't mind cleaning up a small spill without prejudice.)

Thanks for the reply.

It was an honest mistake on my part. I didn't intend to circumvent the DMOZ rules. I just misinterpreted them.
I submitted eight cities (lasvegas, phoenix, reno, atlanta, boston, dallas, denver, orangecounty) on Sunday, Dec 27.
Can I email you or somebody the specifics of the exact urls I submitted?

No need. Editors will spend time cleaning up as they find them. Please don't suggest your website any more times though.
