Hello,

I have already submitted our home page:
www.spray-n-growgardening.com for inclusion in dmoz under this category:
http://www.dmoz.com/Shopping/Home_and_Garden/Garden_Shops/Organic/

We have another page on our site that we would like to submit, but want to make sure that submitting it would not be considered spamming. The URL is:
www.spray-n-growgardening.com/?html=gardening_tips

This is the gardening information portion of our website, which I would probably submit to the following category (that is if it is not considered spam to submit multiple URL's):
http://www.dmoz.com/Home/Gardens/Resources/

The deeplink you are talking about seems to be a content rich resource that is not covered directly by your other submission in the different section of the dmoz.org directory tree. I would think that deeplink would be something that was worth submitting though the editor who finally reviews the submission will determine whether or not to list it in the category. Please remember that deeplinks are exceptions to the rule of listing - but we do list them in some cases where unique content is rich and plentiful.

My site, http://www.annasinkovska.com/ is already listed at http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Arts_a...Modeling/Resumes_and_Portfolios/Individual/S/

An area of the site, located at http://www.annasinkovska.com/fashion-directory/ serves as a directory of the fashion industry, so I've submitted it to http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Fashion/

I know it's too early to check on the status of that submission, but since it's a request for a deep link, I'm just wondering if it's worth tracking the submission -- that is, whether you think the section has a shot at getting a listing.

Thanks.

That will be up to the editor who reviews it. You can track the submission here but don't be disappointed if it is rejected. It is my personal view only but I wouldn't list it myself - the bar for directories is usually very high indeed, it is very difficult to produce an web directory in any form that can be said to be unique content (by our ways of thinking). When I look at a directory I am looking for features beyond it that make it different from all the rest, and in your case that is the website that has already been listed. Another editor may have a different view.

I see your point. My view (and the reason I built the directory) is that the other directories in that niche -- some of which are listed in that cat -- are either extremely small or badly managed. Some of the larger ones are full of dead links, and when I've alerted their owners to dead links I've found, nothing was done about it.

But of course, another reason I built the directory was to further promote the site hosting it, so I'll certainly understand if it doesn't get listed.
