submitting my site?

I've been on the net since March 2008 and have submitted my site at least 3 times in that span, (not consecutively). I've followed every layer of the request to submit site section on DMOZ but my site just doesn't ever show up.

Can anybody help as to how I can make this happen?

Thank you for your help.

You can't make this happen.

You might have misunderstood our objectives and how we operate here. ODP is a volunteer organisation building a directory as a hobby. Editors edit where they wish, when they wish and as much as they wish within the constraints of their permissions. We have no schedules or systems to force people to do work that they don't volunteer to do. ODP is not primarily a free listing service for website owners and it does not attempt to process their listing suggestions within the time scales desired by them.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

So in 9 months you've submitted the same site 3 times? I guess you missed the part of the submission guidelines that said to submit ONCE? And the part of the FAQ that discussed how long it might be before listing?

Hey, sorry. I'm no wiz here. I've only heard good things about DMOZ. I have no idea how you function. In fact, only now have I found out. Sorry if I pissed you off, it was simply a question.

You didn't "piss me off" - takes more than that. The guidelines I referenced are provided during the site submission process, so you actually ignored them three times in a row. Merely pointing out that had you read them, not only would multiple submissions been unnecessary, but the query itself would have been superfluous.
