Hello,
A bit over a month ago I submitted http://www.hermitageacoustics.com/ChristmasGuitarMusic.html to http://dmoz.org/Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Christianity/Calendar/Christmas/Songs_and_Carols . I understand my submission has been received and is awaiting review. However, I'm wondering is I should (and if I even can) retract that submission and submit the index page http://www.hermitageacoustics.com instead. At the time I made the submission my reasoning was that my index page has so little content on it, a mere "welcome" or "front door" page, whereas the page I submitted is rife with content (eg; audio samples, Christmas song histories, etc...) Now I realize that as my site evolves (ie; as I produce more cds...) my index page is the one page that will always represent the entire site. I have read the submission guidelines and know that the index is usually the best page to submit. I have also read that many sites warrant multiple listings. If I have one page dedicated to my Christmas cd, and another to a classical/flamenco cd, are these most appropriately listed in different categories? It all comes down to how information is organized, which is what dmoz does so well. I sure could use some guidance here. Thanks for your time. Jeff

Don't worry about it. We don't just look at the page actually submitted, we look at the website as a whole. Our editor will probably trim the URL back to its root anyway and carry on from there.
