I am currently working on a link building campaign and have a question regarding all the directories that are connected to dmoz. I initially came upon a directory http://www.rokestuf.de, I searched for the site I have been link building for and there were no results. So I clicked on submit a site and it took me through the process, I submitted and went on my way. I continued to research different directories many of which were connected to dmoz (they all take you to the same site to submit a site if you click on submit site) I didn't resubmit to any of these sites that are connected to dmoz because I read the editing guidelines and they advise you not to submit more than one request. So far so good, however I proceeded to research where upon I found that the site I am linkbuilding was found on the excite uk directory. This is where my question arises. Do I need to submit to each directory that is connected to dmoz and if not then why is it that only the excite uk directory is able to find our site? Any information or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
