Hello DMOZ. We suggested our site over 2 years ago. We have never been listed on DMOZ. Since then, we have recently revamped our entire website. It's still the same category but a completely new site. Should we resubmit our site, since that our new site provides more relevant content and editors may find our new site more relevant to be listed on DMOZ? Also,is there a particuliar place on the submission page that we can co notate we have an updated site to suggest?

Thanks,
Supply B.

I don't know what you mean by "completely new site."

If the first site wasn't listable, it wouldn't have been "relevant" content (if it's worth listing, we could find some topic it's relevant to). The issue would have been "unique" content: what information is available on the site, but nowhere else on the web?

A significant change in THAT, might make the site worth considering. So, if you've only suggested the site once, you can use your second allowed suggestion. You're always allowed to review the site based on the editors' guidelines (and comparing it to other sites) to determine whether it's listable.

We are an office supply company. This has not changed. "Completely new site" means that we offer a lot more news in regards to office supplies, which is available on our website. The new site also includes more information about our company, locations, green and environmentally friendly office products, etc. We also have links to our facebook page, which updates customers on current events in relation to office supplies. However, most of the overall products we sell has stayed the same, with the addition of more green friendly office supplies. Hope this helps.

My question is would I just re submit this site the same way I originally did?

Thanks,
Supply Brothers

If the URL was already submitted there is no need to submit it again just because the site has changed some content.

If the URL still is the same we already have it on our server and a further submission simply would replace the previous one or would be deleted as a duplicate.
