Suggestion for a new sub-category

My website does not fit into any one Open Directory sub-category. It would best be listed in 'Society', but none of the sub-categories - including 'People', 'Relationships', 'Business' and 'Professional' - is appropriate.
I would like to suggest /'Human Relations' as a sub-category, or perhaps /'Human Relations'/'Consultancy', but so far I have not been able to locate the appropriate editor. Is there anyone in the Open Directory with whom I could discuss this?

We're very unlikely to create a new sub-category for a single site, let alone a new second-level category.

For a new category to be created, editors need to discuss things in our internal forums. If an editor reading this is interested they may kick the discussion off, but even then any resulting changes won't happen immediately.

If I were you I'd suggest your site to the most appropriate category you can find at the moment. Add a note to the end of the description if you like saying that you don't think is properly belongs there. Better still, find a load more sites that belong in the same new category as you think yours would and suggest those too. If the editor see a pile of sites that don't fit into the current hierarchy, they more likely to come to the conclusion that the hierarchy needs improving.

If you'd really like to help us improve things, you could always apply to become an editor. You'll have to choose a category based on what's there at the moment though, and find some example sites that will fit in it.
