templegames.co.uk (was:Submission Problem)

Hello all. I have been submitting my website every month since December last year to be included in the DMOZ directory.
So far I have been un-successful in getting listed so I thought I would post a message on this board to see if anyone could give me some pointers to where I might be going wrong.

I am trying to submit to the following category:
Top: Regional: Europe: United Kingdom: Arts and Entertainment: Games: Computer Games: Retailers
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Arts_and_Entertainment/Games/Computer_Games/Retailers/

This is the information I submitted:
Site URL: http://www.templegames.co.uk

Title of Site: Temple Games - UK online retailer selling games and accessories

Site Description: We offer a huge range of PC and console games and accessories on our website. Payment is secure and easy by either Card, PayPal, Cheque or Postal Order.

Any help would be fantastic!

Thanks in advance,

Daniel Chapman

Re: Submission Problem

The site is still waiting for a review. Unfortunately that area of the directory is short on editors.

Hmmm. For some reason, I can't reply to your second post (it just generates errors), so I'll reply here. One thing that Neil didn't mention is that there is no need to resubmit if your site is awaiting review -- and resubmitting can actually cause your site to wait longer for review (or it may not affect the waiting time).

Note that most, but not all, duplicate submittals are automatically merged, and so your repeated submittals (no doubt following advice given, but certainly not following the official ODP submittal policy) MAY not get you a reputation as a spammer.

But not all duplicates are merged, so following the submittal policies is sometimes necessary to protect you. Submit, wait six weeks (not a month!) and resubmit. Once. Then come have a chat in this forum (but no more often than once a month).

And, by the way, sue the venal ignoramus who told you it was a good idea to resubmit every month.
