Checking Status

Dear Banmrk:

You certainly are patient - a year!

This business of manually submitting my website is rather daunting. If I resubmit, I could be penalized, but there are so many overlappings submittal sites, what if it has been ... that is what I want to check on.

Is there a place where I can just look up to see when I submitted my submitted my site - if I submitted my site.

Adelaide
www.adelaideruble.com
www.rickeldridgejazz.com
www.pentagramrecords.com

The second two may not have been submitted, but I am reticent to try for fear that I could lose.

Also, does DMOZ have a place where we can determine the PR rating of our site and that of others?

Help, please.

The second two sites are far from ready for prime time. I wouldn't submit them at all -- link them from your site, if they ever add pages or tidbits that you think your surfers would be interested in.

There is no place other than the forum to check. You have to know where they were submitted.

DMOZ doesn't do PR. Most search engines have some concept like that, which they don't tell us about, not that we were knocking down their doors to ask.

Man you are fast! Thanks.

Your response was a little cryptic. What do you mean far from ready? The basic desinging is complete. Do ou mean as far as keywords are concerned?

Also, you mentioned only the last two. What of the the first - BTW, to make sure we are on the same page, the first is www.adelaideruble.com, right?

No, I don't mean keywords. I mean information (unless it's all buried in the plugins.

I haven't looked at the first one. I presume you're eventually going to give more information and ask about its submittal status?

www.adelaideruble.com

Hutcheson:

Are you saying that you do not think there is enough info? Each site is simple and serves its purpose and function.

www.adelaideruble.com promotes the singer and the CD and the tracks on the CD

www.rickeldridgejazz.com promotes the piano player and his CD, playing styles and advertises an on-going schedule for the artist. (he has several related links strewn throughout the virtual world)

www.pentagramrecords.com promotes the record label.

Are you saying that you think that they should contain more info? If you are, it would help if you let me know what you would like to see.
