There but not there

Hi. I submitted a request for the website www.surveygalaxy.com to be added to DMOZ at the beginning of the year and have been checking regularly to see if it had been added by searching surveygalaxy.com. I was then checking the domain name information using a WHOIS website and it came back with a DMOZ listing. When I followed the directory tree it showed that the surveygalaxy.com had been listed. . Listing is here:

However if I type surveygalaxy.com into the search box it does not find the site. Could you let me know if this is normal. Much appreciated. Martin

Hi Martin!

When the search result differs from what you see in the category, always trust the category Search isn't updated; usually it lags about a week behind but right now it still uses the data base from June (there is a date shown at the bottom of the search results page - if a site was added at a later date it won't show.) However, the RDF data dump is being produced about weekly, and that includes all the sites currently in the directory - including yours.
