About 4 months ago i made a rookie mistake and hired a company to do directory submissions for me. They submited to dmoz (god knows what catagory) when the site was not ready for it. (No unique content, no personal contact info, broken under construction pages and so on)

Well now after a few months of building content on the site i believe it is now almost ready for a dmoz submission. Here is the problems i face:

1) The realtor associated with the site url has changed.
2) I have no idea if they have even reviewd the site yet, so if they get to it now, the description, title and contact info are going to be whack and i could get banned.
3) How do i know when to resubmit so i dont get banned for multiple submissions?

The error was mine in hiring the company for the directory submissions. Now how to dig myself out from this hole?

We're mostly human here and we understand that humans can err. You won't get banned for making a second listing suggestion :) .

Our systems are down ATM. You won't be able to suggest your site until the status announcement at the top of this forum says all is well.

Thanks -

Is there a comments section in the submit process? I was thinking about linking to this url or explaining the scenario during my submit just to make sure.

There is no Comments section, but you are welcome to add a brief explanation in square brackets at the end of the description you write, [like this].

If you want to leave a comment, you should place it at the end of the description between brackets [ ]. In this way, the editor reviewing it will easily see it.

<added> lol - mak! :p </added>
