I get the impression the time on this server is wildly fast. Like by about five minutes. Heads up.

Actually, it's only fast by about 2.5 minutes. Not what I'd call "wildly fast".

[added: by that I mean that it is only 2.5 minutes ahead of my own clock. Still, I wouldn't call 5 minutes fast to be "wildly" either.]

Besides, we get the hosting for free and the person who donates it isn't even an editor anymore. Beggers can't be choosers :)

I assure you five minutes is "wildly" for a server. The time, or what the server calculates to be the time, is displayed all over the place and the server of course sends emails out too. Problems may actually occur besides it just looking bad. Read up if you need to.

In the 2 years that I've been working on this forum, I can honestly say that this is probably the first time that I've even looked at the time on here. Do people really care what time it is on this site? If it was off by a couple of hours or days I could see it causing some confusion, but a few minutes probably isn't going to be a big deal to most people. Just don't look at the time and it won't be a problem for you :)
