I keep asking this and my threads keep getting closed wtihout real help. I do not understand how this process can be a help to the community. I have listeed the initail post below. The reason I aks this is because the company name is NOT the company name the you guys (editors) have decided to put on the listing. I don't mean to be argumentative, but I don't understand the difficulty in this. the ODP editors have listed the title/company name as something other then the real company name...please help.

Need help...have been asking for many months to get a title changed on one of my sites as the editor changed it from the correct one to one that is not. Now I am in process of selling this company and cannot seem to get anyone to change the title. The sale is actually being held up due to not having this corrected. I submitted this request about 3 months ago and then recently. Any suggestions? Thanks!

As you probably know, we aren't looking at anything right now (see the announcements :( )

But there are no provisions for special services for webmasters. The only process is: people (including webmasters, prospective webmasters, and surfers -- all on exactly the same footing) make suggestions. Volunteer editors look at them (in no particular order or priority) when considering how they might improve the ODP for surfers.

If you've made the suggestion once, then that's all you can do to help us -- and we don't want you doing anything that doesn't help.

We keep telling you that the title should be the company name.
We keep asking you not to start new threads on the same topic.
You keep ignoring the information and the requests.
We can fix that. You have earned yourself a one week posting ban.

Don't be tempted to create a fresh account here so that you can persist; it'll only lead to tears.
