I'm not sure if my submission went thru or not. I did it thru a submission thing on web ceo. It's been a few days. I want to do it thru dmoz.org and make sure it is in. But then I read that you shouldnt re-submit. What should I do? It didnt come up in a search. [URL removed] is my site. Can someone give me some direction with this please? thanks in advance

We do not give status updates or discuss specific URLs in this forum, per the TOS.

If you've only suggested your site once, you can resuggest it to the same category. If the prior suggestion was successful, a new one to the same category will simply overwrite it.

But please be aware that we aren't a listing service. We're a group of volunteers building a directory. An editor will take a look at your site, but we don't know when. It could be days to several years. Site suggestions are only one source of URLs. Site suggestions do not expire, so it will not be necessary to suggest your site again.

Thanks!

By using such a thing you might have missed our guidelines
http://www.dmoz.org/add.html
Auto-submission software is (and always has been) a violation of this procedure. Sites submitted automatically are flagged and deleted after the submission is accepted, without notification to you. Persistent automatic submission may force us to ban you from the dmoz site, so we can provide resources to real human beings.

Every person who suggests a site must first acknowledge having read and understood the clearly stated guidelines.
It is unfortunate that so many people say they have when they haven't.

If you take the time to read before posting you'll find out that Unscratch submitted his site through another site/system. If you have a little experience on internet you already know such bulk submission programs don't tell you the whole target list before hand. And don't publish submission rules for every target they send information to.

The truth is Unscratch didn't submitted his site to DMOZ but an automated system did. May be Unscratch found out that his site was submitted to DMOZ at the end of the submission. A reasonable person wouldn't be telling him now "you should have read our submission guidelines".
