I didn't know this forum existed until now. I see I may have oversubmitted because I didn't hear anything for a while. Am I in trouble? What should I do? I resubmitted to different catagories because I assumed that was the delay. I read the posts and understand a little better now. Thank you. www.creativemailers.com

You didn’t need to know if this forum existed or not. There is a very clear statement about spamming the ODP by repeated submissions in the form that you used to submit your site. It also has a link to an FAQ and a very strong suggestion to read it. Since I am not an editor, not that you will get any status check from them any way, since it is not permitted, take my advice for what its worth: Do not submit your website any more. You may have already put your self in the undesirable and objectionable group of spammers as far as ODP is concerned. Consider this for a moment. What if I wanted some thing from you and kept hammering that point over and over. Should I, in my rational mind, expect any favorable response from you?

Attention riz

@riz

You are not an editor and you have no idea how many times that website has been suggested, to where it has been suggested or what our tolerance levels are.

It is not uncommon for humans to make mistakes, decide they'd prefer a different description or decide they suggested their site to the wrong category. We expect these things to happen and we make allowances.

Please stop misleading other posters here with your mistaken assumptions and interpretations of our policies.

I apologize if this statement was ambiguous in any way.

I merely responded to:

I honestly had no intention to mislead or deceive jimchil. If my advice came across as being anything other than what I have stated earlier, I do apologize to jimchill.

Still, you're better off not posting recommendations of any kind -- many people will not notice your disclaimer and think that you are speaking with authority. So, it'd be great if you would just refrain from making those posts. :)
