Travel and golf forum - best category to submit?

I have a travel and golf forum about Algarve in Portugal.

The category most suited seems to be:
Recreation: Travel: Travelogues: Europe: Portugal

I have looked at this category and come to this conclusion that it is correct, but I would like to avoid submitting incorrectly.

Problem is that the other listings there look nothing like my forum.

Can I ask for suggestions here?

Have you already had a look at one of the subcategories of Regional/Europe/Portugal?

OK, sorry but I seem to have missed the meaning of the word; Travelogues.

I looked at this category:
Regional: Europe: Portugal: Travel and Tourism

It has more sub-categories, but can I list here?

You can suggest your site to regional, yes.

The primary breakdown in Regional is by location, so first step down to the lowest level that encompasses either your physical locations, or for informational sites the lowest level that encompasses the area the information is about. Since your first post says

about Algarve in Portugal

You should look at that level first (http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Portugal/Districts/Faro/ ), and refine it from there.

The next step (once you have the right level) is the topic of the site (the main focus if it has several) - if it is travel then a Travel_and_Tourisn sub category, if it is more about Golf and the travel is incidental, then a Recreation_and_Sports sub cat.

If a particular sub category does not (yet) exist, suggest the site to the parent category and the sub category will be created once there are several like sites.
