Trouble Getting Included in Index

I am very confused about getting included in this directory! I submitted two different sites and the tracking service I use shows visits from DMOZ editors to both sites. The editor even downloaded eBooks from my eBook site but never included it. This was submitted to the Shopping/books/ebooks directory (www.totallydigitalbooks-online.com)

The second site was submitted to business/marketing/internet marketing/resources
(www.ebooks-and-ezines.com)

The second site has a few affiliate links, but the majority of it does not. And it includes a plethora of free resources! I just don't understand, if someone could give me some direction on this I really would appreciate it!

Site was looked at on 30/May/2002, thats right. /images/icons/wink.gif
"Shopping" is for sites mainly selling things online. Quick glance at the site makes me think it was OK to move the site on inte the Business/ part of ODP - does not look like a shop to me either. And that the editor downloaded some ebooks just means he looked for something to buy in your "Online-Shop" /images/icons/smile.gif

When I look at the site, with some clicks I can only see links to external sources, as you stated yourself. You know that we look for "unique" content in the site itself.

(btw: you have some hits again now, of course /images/icons/wink.gif )

While I realize this may not have 50 pages of in-depth content, there are several articles in the sidebar and when you click on other areas. The site was designed for novice marketers that don't really know where to start and has several aread, including a discussion board to discuss this. Of course there are lots of outside links! Many to the actual search engines that matter! I looked at one other site in this same directory, and it, too is compised of mostly outside links. I guess I am just confused about how sites get accepted here.

Well if you cant confirm it why even state it?
