Trouble with editor application form

Can anyone assist me please? I have tried over and over to get my application to become an editor into the system. It comes back each and every time as " Can't have more than one application" My original application is over 2 years old so I must be screwing up something. I have even tried a different computer, with a different user name, all to no avail. It keeps bouncing back.
Any guideancewould be greately appreciated. My e mail is planesales@aol.com If you care to send me a phone number i would really appreciate to talk to eomeone who can straighten me out.

We implemented a new application form yesterday, and it's still a little buggy.

I think reading Enarra's response in the announcement forum will answer your question. (Yes, we're aware of the problem, and yes, we're trying to get it fixed.)

It's supposed to be fixed now.

The new app looks better than what I tried to work with /images/icons/smile.gif

However, there should be someplace to note that your email has changed if you are asking for reinstatement...

Quote directly from the form:

"Your e-mail address should match the e-mail you used as an editor. If it is different, then provide your old e-mail address in your reason for reinstatement below."

That's in small type next to 'Email'.

Still need help. I am still unable to get my application accepted by the provided form. The new form gives the same result as the old:
"Application Pending
There was a problem with your form:
Sorry, you can only have one application at a time.
Please go back in your browser and resubmit the form"
As my original application is well over 2 years old, and I have never been informed of anything, I assume that the error is in the form.
Please advise on how I may be able to get the form into the system.

What editor name did you apply with? Both this time and last (two years ago).

I can't offer you any help - I am in a similar situation (although the time lapsed since my application is not as long) and thought it might be helpful for metas to be aware that others are experiencing difficulties as well.

I submitted an application over 6 weeks ago, decided to reapply yesterday and got the same message you did "Application pending There was a problem with your form...Please go back in your browser and resubmit the form". I agree that the error may be in the form.

Has any one (who previously submitted an app to become an editor) tried to submit an application in the past few days and had it go through?

Still no joy with the application form. N matter how I try, it won't accept the application. Getting E mails from others with the same problem. Any suggestions, as I really would like to get my application into the system?
