Trying to move categories - but no joy yet...

Hi,

Our website (kazooma.com) has evolved! Once web designers, we have now created and become a search engine. We requested that our listing in ODP be moved to a suitable 'search engine' category some time ago - but we still reside in:

"Computers: Internet: Web Design and Development: Designers: Dynamic and Multimedia: K"

Could do with getting this updated along with the site description as the link is currently out of date.

Anyone let us know what's happening with this?

You can go to the category where it is listed, and hit the update button and request for your site to be moved <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

...do you mean the 'Feedback' link? Think I tried what you are suggesting a while ago but not getting anywhere.

Are we at the back of one of these 'queues'...?

You can ask for the status in the other forum here, or you can click the "Update URL" button -- go to the category at dmoz.org and you'll see it. You can click "editor feedback", but Update URL requests can be handled by any category editor, while feedback only goes to listed editors (if any).
