I own and run turkish second biggest webmaster forum, over 42000 members and 45000 threads and its alexa under 300 in Turkey and going up... i no give its name, popular enough and known by webmasters. I applied many times on right category (turkish webmaster forums) and actually the only category while other webmaster forums accepted there and okayed i get no approval over 12 months. I believe they want me to stop me growing up. And i see my competitive webmaster forum sites is adding there and i see there is no editor to reach. I believe dmoz but this is just unjustice. And for me its fine i am already getting big and will be number one but its for me a shame to remember editors still enjoying their power given to them. And the editor behave like this will lose my trust to turkish dmoz editors and believe me i no want to support dmoz anymore. I know foreign category editors very great and active. why it has to be like this for turkish editors? If somebody will like to help me really to solve problem i can give the forum name.

You might have misunderstood our objectives and how we operate here. ODP is a volunteer organisation building a directory as a hobby. Editors edit where they wish, when they wish and as much as they wish within the constraints of their permissions. We have no schedules or systems to force people to do work that they don't volunteer to do. ODP is not primarily a free listing service for website owners and it does not attempt to process their listing suggestions within the time scales desired by them.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

If you have evidence of editorial abuse, by all means report it at http://report-abuse.dmoz.org/ .
