I have a simple yet what seems to have turned out to be a complicated problem that I need to get resolved as soon as possible.

My URL is listed in the dmoz directory under 2 names and 2 categories. One is correct and the other is incorrect.

My URL is <URL1>
This is the correct listing and category...

Kats Designs - Designers and manufacturers specializing in custom rhythmic suits, competition leotards and costumes.
--<URL1> Business: Consumer Goods and Services: Clothing: Sports (1)

This is the INCORRECT listing...

Big Star Sandy - Canada. Manufactures gymnastic exercise apparel and accessories, crafted using high quality materials with an unqualified guarantee. -- <URL1> Business > Consumer Goods and Services > Clothing > Footwear > Athletic (19)

The INCORRECT listing above now and for some time has had its own website which is <URL2>
NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM...

In dmoz when I go the the category where Big Star is located (Business > Consumer Goods and Services > Clothing > Footwear > Athletic) and click "Update URL" I then get prompted to enter the URL 'as listed' which is <URL1>, BUT I receive a message telling me that the URL does not exist in that category BUT IT DOES! So it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to submit this change.

Please assist me with this as it is creating a lot of problems with customers who want to find the Big Star site at <URL2>

The other problem is, when people search Kats Designs they are seeing the site description from Big Star which is also of course incorrect.

I sincerely need to have this changed and would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Thank you in advance.

If the update process tells you an url is not listed in that category you can be 100% sure that the url is not listed in that category.
I suspect that you did a search for the url and were shown these 2 listings. But the search always is some time behind the real directory. You most probably have seen a situation that existed in the past but that already has been corrected.

<URL1> is only listed in Business/Consumer_Goods_and_Services/Clothing/Sports. It was moved to there from Business/Consumer_Goods_and_Services/Clothing/Footwear/Athletic last November - at your request as far as I can tell. Our search is also up to date, showing only that result.

We don't/can't control when our downstream data users download our data. If you were searching elsewhere than DMOZ and got wrong results, please take it up with them.

Yes I did request the 'move' and the category, title, site description and URL are now in the correct category. When I requested the move I would have presumed the original listing would have ceased to exist but it hasn't and needs to be deleted or revised as the URL has changed. How do I revise this original listing please?

As both jim and I already said there is no listing in Business>Consumer Goods and Services>Clothing>Footwear>Athletic for your website
You have either seen this listing in the search (which is always sometime behind the real directory , but jim already checked and this is not the case) or you have seen in listed on a copy of the directory (we do not control these copies, you will have to ask the owner of that copy)
