Hi,

We design some web sites for two way radio dealers. We have not seen our sites being accepted and wanted to know if there was a problem.

Here is the category:

http://dmoz.org/Business/Telecommun...ay_Radio/Dealers/North_America/United_States/

Here are some of the submitted sites:

http://www.ra-comm.com
http://www.twowayradiodeals.com/
http://www.2-way.biz/
http://www.jancommunications.com/
http://www.minerelectronics.com
http://www.radio1inc.com/

This is just an example we have many more.

Any help would be appreciated.

How long do submission in this category normally take?

Should I resubmit all my sites again?

Thanks

Don't submit again to that category again unless you are told to.

However, http://www.2-way.biz/ is listed in http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_Amer.../Localities/N/Newington/Business_and_Economy/

If you have not done so already, you can submit the other sites to the category in Regional that represents their store physical location. That is allowed in addition to the Business category, and will be reviewed separately.

How long do submission in this category normally take? - It's impossible to answer - it's unpredicatable when an editor will work ona category.

The wait for review is a time interval. It's kind of like "how long is a piece of string?" We can't answer until we come to the end of it.

No, do not submit the sites again. But DO (please!) go submit each of them to the Business&Economy/Shopping subcategory of the appropriate Localities category under Regional. Companies with walk-in locations are eligible to be listed there, whether or not they get listed in Business (and vice versa) And, for whatever it's worth, many of the strings in Regional are shorter than many of the strings in Business.

If you're willing to go out of your way to find websites created by your competitors for the competitors of your customers, and you can handle the ODP description-writing style, you might consider applying to edit the category.
