Hi,

I'm the author/president/idiot in charge of the ****ty Blogs Club.

I am thrilled that we are listed under "Worst of the Web," I couldn't agree more.

But your description of the site says, "Humorous 'awards' given to weblogs the author deems to be of poor quality."

There are a number of sites that do that, but this is not one of them. The site is just what it says it is, a club for bloggers whose blogs suck, and they not only know it, they are proud of it. We do give awards from time to time, but only to members based on their merits as members.

A more appropriate description might be, "Club for losers who can't even blog well."

I don't really care, but I make it a point to never criticize (publicly) blogs who are not members. I'm not the one who decides that the blogs are of poor quality. The authors of the blogs decide that about themselves.

I don't expect anyone to really "get" this. Just think of it as an inside joke.
