Hi,

My site is placed in the wrong category and the description is also not correct. I have submitted a request to change the description and category several times, wherein I have clearly mentioned what is wrong and where. There has been no response.
The category is
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/India/Tamil_Nadu/Districts/Tiruvallur/
It doesn't have an editor. Is that the reason I'm not getting any response?

Can anybody help me out?

Thanks,
Ram

To answer your specific question, no. having no named editor doesn't mean that the category isn't being actively updated. If you have requested an update, then the update request either hasn't been reviewed yet (Updates stand out to editors and are normally a higher priority to editors but there is no timeframe required for reviewing them) or the update wasn't an acceptable request and the current title/description is more appropriate.

Hope that helps.

[note]I deleted my previous response because I misread your question-sorry[/note]

Category Addition/Change

Hi,

I had applied for my website to be listed in another category also or be shifted to that category, since I think the other category would be more appropriate. I have not seen any response on that. Is this again because
that category doesnt have an editor? Or has the request been rejected?
In that case, How would I know? Can I resubmit or appeal against it?

Thanks,
Ram

No, see http://resource-zone.com/forum/faq.php?faq=faq_site_questions#faq_no_editor

Maybe, or it hasn't been looked at.

You won't. See http://resource-zone.com/forum/faq.php?faq=rz_faq#faq_status_faq_item

Can I resubmit
Yes, but it won't be of any help.
If an editior agrees with your request it will be moved.
If an editor does not agree it won't be moved.
More than one request will not change this

No, you can't.
