Unupdated categories in Banking section !!!

I often found many sub categories particularly in banking section lies either unupdated or lacking volunteers. why is it so? Since i myself is expert in banking related, i tried to become editor, eventually i was rejected. i was equally frustrated since our non profit work europebanks.info was lying around dead since 1yr in /Banks_and_Institutions/Directories/

I am not sure what the reason could be but i would be happy to hear from editors. Thanks!

The most likely reason is that no one has felt a driving need to edit there. If a category doesn't spark enough interest for someone to edit there, then it waits until someone does.

And, anticipating your next comment, no, that doesn't mean we should be eagerly grabbing up anyone applying for such a category regardless of whether they submitted an appropriate application or not.
